My crafting buddy Jenny learned how to make these flowers and taught me one night. We used her old curtains to make our first set and I loved that we took something unwanted and sewed it into such a pretty object. I found these little flower pins bring me supreme happiness - on my jacket and grocery tote bags, seeing them makes me smile. So I thought, maybe I should make more? And I did.... out of my mom's old shirts, t-shirts from a re-use shop, fabric my relatives brought me from India, new fabric from the store, anything that is pretty and would make a nice flower.
I have done one craft show so far and hope to do more. I am trying to update my Etsy shop as the seasons change, so check back often.
